We accept orders 24hours a day 7 days a week. However any orders for collection today and next day deliveries that are placed after 3pm will incur a late booking charge of £10 per booking. Same day orders can be placed at any time but are dependent upon vehicle availability

RDS customers are given a username and password for the online portal. From here you can access proof of collection & delivery signatures, photographs taken at collection and delivery and invoice and payment details the moment the job is complete.
All our vehicles and storage facilities are installed with equipment to continuously measure, trace and record chamber temperatures during operation with alarm notifications in the event of temperature deviation. In addition to this our vehicles and storage facilities are temperature mapped to ensure an even temperature throughout the chambers.

Yes, RDS operates a complete cold chain including refrigerated vehicles and chilled and frozen storage facilities at our depot in Worksop. You can be assured that your products will be kept within the necessary temperature range for the whole time they are in transit and storage by RDS.
All RDS vehicles and storage facilities are fitted with live temperature monitoring and recording equipment meaning that full temperature information specific to your consignment is available upon request.
Yes, we can transport goods within your required temperature range, typically -25°C to -18°C for frozen, 0°C to 5°C for chilled and room temperature for ambient.

All RDS drivers are trained in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). For example our drivers are trained in vehicle cleaning and maintenance, collections and deliveries including how to deal with failed deliveries and unidentified parcels, customer returns, damages and losses. We also carry out 6 monthly driver assessments for all drivers to keep on top of training needs.
